Product Information

Feel Good Events is the largest illuminated dance floor supplier in Australia. We not only have the largest dance floor but the most experience within the event industry. FGE has installed many dance floors for large corporate events like TV Week Logies, Nova FM, Fox FM & Crown Casino just to name a few.

This floor can be custom programmed at an extra charge to specifically suit your party or event colour scheme or theme. The illuminated dance floor is not available for DIY due to its weight and technical requirements.

Please Note: Dance Floor Edging (a ramp that borders the dance floor) is not included in the prices of the hire but may be hired as an optional extra. Edging is not an OHS requirement on any sized dance floor, but we do recommend having edging if you are hiring a dance floor size any larger than 5m x 5m.

FAQ's

Delivery and pick up is an additional cost to the dance floor and is calculated on location. Additional costs can be added for harder access into the venue, stairs and small access times for delivery and pick up.

If needing the dance floor picked up before 9am or after 5pm there is an additional after hours cost per person. This will be added to your quotation if needed.

Each tile is 1m by 1m, 40kg each and 11cm high.

Each tile is 100 watts.

The led dance floor has 4 rubber feet (one in each corner) which will protect your flooring. Carpet tiles can be added if needed, please let our staff know at the time of booking if you would like carpet tiles.

The dance floor is water resistant but not waterproof. We recommend that drinks are not taken onto the dance floor to avoid significantly large spills damaging the dance floor. Any spillages on the dance floor must be cleaned right away. This is due to safety and possible damage to the dance floor. Feel Good Events will not be held responsible for any injuries that occur on the dance floor caused by spilled drinks. Drinks are to be taken on the dance floor at your own risk.

The dance floor needs to be set up on a smooth flat surface otherwise, the tiles can be uneven and possibly unsafe. Floorboards and concrete are the best surfaces to place the dance floor on. If wanting to put the dance floor down on the carpet you must ensure the carpet is not overly plush as the tiles will move.

Dance floor requires one end to be set up near a wall for power, hide cabling, and the control box.

Edging is a silver ramp that is connected all sides of the dance floor. Access to the dance floor would be via a slight 68-degree angle ramp rather than a step-up. Please be aware that the edging will add 27cm onto either side of the floor.

Edging is NOT required under OHS (occupational health and safety). The floor is 11cm high (approximately half the height of a regular stair step. It is an easy and obvious step up to the dance floor from ground level.

The led dance floor is run by an internal program that runs through a sequence of patterns and colours, this is a pre-built program which will be standard with every dance floor booking. Programming is available at an additional cost, this will allow you to select particular colours, patterns, and speeds. Please contact our office for more information. The dance floor will be plugged into a power point, you will be able to turn the dance floor on and off simply by using the powerpoint the dance floor is plugged into.

Yes, the dance floor can be connected to a programming controller and programmed to do certain colours, patterns and speeds. This is at an extra charge based on requirements. In most cases, we suggest just using the floor on its preset program so that you get the most out of what the floor can do.

Dance Floor is 11cm high and just a small step up. Edging is available for this floor at an extra cost but is not required under OHS

The dance floor can only be set up outside if it is under cover and it will not get wet. If the dance floor is going into a marquee it requires a hard-level wooden floor underneath. If the venue doesn’t have level, smooth flooring to put the dance floor on, safety can’t be guaranteed.

Depending on the size of the floor, in some cases, it can be run off 1 or 2 single 10 amp power point. Any sizes over 8m x 8m would require a 3-phase point or multiple separate circuits in the venue.

Each tile can hold up to 800kg.

Yes, the tiles can be configured in any shape you like but there is a 9 tile minimum.
