Hurricane™ Haze 2D is a water-based haze machine with continuous output and a digital display to set DMX and stand-alone functions with ease. It features adjustable blower output speeds and nozzle to get the haze where you need it. The low fluid indicator gives a warning before running out of fluid. An included wired, timer remote stores conveniently in the fixture. Water-based haze machine that creates a thin atmosphere to enhance any light show. Continuous output after minimal initial warm-up ensures the haze is always ready.

FAQ

What is the difference between a haze machine and a smoke machine?

A haze machine will create thinner smoke so that it will still enhance your light show but without filling the room with too much smoke. A smoke machine will create thicker smoke.

What is required to make the haze machine work?

All you are required to do is plug into power and switch it on and wait 5 minutes for the machine to heat up. The unit comes with a remote control that you can press the button for when you want the smoke.

How long will the fluid last?

If used continuously the machine will last for hours. We suggest just using it for short bursts of a few minutes as it can become overwhelming with smoke if used nonstop as it is a high powered haze smoke machine.

Does this unit require power?

Yes, these units do require power to work.

Does the smoke smell?

Yes, the smoke fluid we use is scented and smells like strawberries adding another dimension to your party.

Will the haze machine set off smoke alarms?

Yes, if you have sensitive smoke alarms it can trigger them. If you are planning to use it in a function venue I would suggest checking with the venue first to make sure you are allowed to use it. Some venues smoke detectors are connected directly to the fire brigade so if triggered will send fire trucks immediately to the venue which if a false alarm will incur a great deal of expense to you. If using a haze machine at home you can temporarily take out the batteries while your party is on or if the detector is hard-wired a little trick is to cover smoke detector with some glad wrap.

Is a haze machine safe to use?

Yes, haze machines are perfectly safe to use around people and are non-toxic. Although the smoke fluid does have a scent it will not leave any after smell or residue once your party is finished. Haze machines do not cause asthma attacks and you only need a little bit of smoke to get the best effect from your lights.
