Smoke & Fog machines are a must when used with party lights or laser lights to create the beam effect with your lighting. Smoke machines provide the haze needed to see the beams of light otherwise you will just see coloured dots on the wall and not that actual beam of light. FAQ

What is required to make the smoke machine work?

All you are required to do is plug into power and switch on and wait 5 minutes for the machine to heat up. The unit comes with a remote control so that you can press the button for when you want smoke.

How Long will the fluid last?

If used continuously the machine will last for hours. We suggest just using it for short bursts of a few minutes as it can become overwhelming with smoke if used nonstop.

Does this unit require power?

Yes, these units do require power to work.

Does the smoke smell?

Yes, the smoke fluid we use is scented so it will smell like strawberries adding another dynamic to your party.

Will the smoke machine set off a smoke alarm?

Yes if you have sensitive smoke alarms it can trigger them. If you are planning to use it in a function venue I would suggest checking with the venue first to make sure you are allowed to use it. Some venues smoke detectors are connected directly to the fire brigade so if triggered will send fire trucks immediately to the venue which if a false alarm will incur a great deal of expense to you. If using a smoke machine at home you can temporarily take out the batteries while your party is on or if the detector is hard-wired a little trick is to cover smoke detector with some glad wrap.

Is a smoke machine safe to use?

Yes, smoke machines are perfectly safe to use around people and are non-toxic. Although the smoke fluid does have a scent it will not leave any after smell or residue once your party is finished. Smoke machines do not cause asthma attacks and you only need a little bit of smoke to get the best effect from your lights.
