The Ultimate Bridal Event

The Ultimate Bridal Event is the Melbourne’s first Major Bridal Expo of the year. The 2 day event ran over the 13th and 14th of January and took over the full space of The Royal Exhibition in Carlton.

Feel Good Events had our regular 6x6x3m L-Shaped space where we showcased a handful of our products and services including 2 Rustic Themed setups. Products used in the displays included our Pendant Lights, Fairy Lights, Draping, Wine Barrel Bar, Rustic Table and Rustic themed styling products. Our White Dance Floor with Decal was also on display for all to bust a move on.

$90,000 worth of prizes was up for grabs during the event. We got into the giveaway spirit and held our own competition – a Styling Package worth $3,000 was in the mix for 1 lucky winner.

With hundreds of entries and plenty queries, the expo was a huge success for us. Here are a few sneaky snaps from the event & a run down from our perspective on the day!

We arrived at the Royal Exhibition at approx 1pm Friday 12th with 3 of our staff on hand to prepare setup of our expo booth and additional draping for the event which would be displayed at the entrance. It was a long day which involved multiple trips and multiple floor plan changes which pushed out our completion time. Unloading, Installation, Setup and Styling was all completed by 6pm.

Day 1 –
2 staff members were on hand during the event. We began the day by doing some final styling touches and arranging the fresh flowers. Doors opened at 10am and there was a steady stream of attendees throughout the day and found ourselves overwhelmed at times (mostly after the 3 scheduled Fashion Shows). Many brides-to-be stopped and asked questions and our Feel Good Events Wedding Product & Services pamphlets were handed out and taken by hundreds of guests. Our competition draw table was given a workout with 150+ entries just on day 1.

Day 2 –
We found that day 2 had roughly the same amount of attendees as day 2. It started to fizzle out as the day progressed. Entries into our competition draw and pamphlets were still a hot ticket item. A final count of all entrants was 250+

Bump out began at 4pm sharp. With 20+ meters of drape, lighting, styling products and dance floor the longest products to pack down the whole process took just under 3 hours.

All in all the expo was a huge success.
