The 1 metre Colour Band strip light is a great light to use for wall up lighting at weddings or events as it is powerful and small so you won’t see the lighting fixture you just see the light it creates.

You can choose from 6 pre-set colours or let it run through a slow colour change to create a different atmosphere all the time. This light is great if you want to do a larger area of wall colour washing.

FAQ's

What is required to make this light work?

All you are required to do is plug into power and switch on. If you are having a preset colour we will set it for you. If you wish for all lights to do a slow colour change, all lights will need to be connected together so that they will change in sync.

How do I get the best effect out of this light?

To get the best effect from this light we suggest that you make the room you are using it in as dark as possible. The darker the room the better the effect will be.

How many lights will I need?

This is always a tricky question and it comes down to a few things. A lot will depend on how big an area you want to cover, your budget and what other lights you are planning to have on in the room. Colour of the walls can also make a difference and if your walls are white you will usually need less lighting as it will reflect the light better and the lights will seem brighter. Some people will do up-lighting all around the whole reception venue and some people will just do one wall as a feature such as behind the bridal table. Depending on the venue we usually suggest one light every 6 to 8 meters for best effect.

How do I set this light up?

This light can easily be set up on the floor as it has its own brackets to help it stand up. This light is thin and short so it can easily be pushed up against the walls so that it is out of the way.

How much power do I need?

A lot will depend on how many lights you wish to use but as these lights are led you can run at least 10 from one power point.
