How much does party styling cost?
Party styling costs vary depending on your venue, guest numbers, styling requirements, and the level of impact you want to create.
Some parties only need styling in a few key areas, while others require a more complete transformation. We’ll help you understand what’s realistic for your budget and where it will have the biggest impact.
Why do I need to pay a design fee before getting a quote?
Because before we can accurately quote products and installation, we need to understand your venue, styling direction, priorities, and what will suit the space best.
This ensures your quote is based on styling decisions that make sense for your party, rather than guesswork.
Can you style parties at private homes or only at venues?
We style parties in a wide range of spaces, including private homes, backyards, halls, rooftops and function venues.
Every space has different opportunities and limitations, which is why understanding the venue is an important part of the styling process.
Can you style just one area of my party?
Yes, depending on your requirements.
Some clients only want help styling one feature area, such as an entrance, backdrop, cake area, or photo moment. Others want styling across multiple areas of the party.
We’ll help you work out what makes the most sense based on your goals and budget.
What if I’m not sure what styling I need yet?
That’s completely fine.
Most clients come to us with ideas or inspiration, but aren’t always sure what styling is actually needed to achieve the result they want.
Helping you work through that is a big part of what we do.
How far in advance should I book?
The earlier, the better, especially for larger parties, peak periods, or dates during busy seasons.
Booking early gives you the best chance of securing your preferred date and allows more time to properly plan the styling.
Do you provide delivery, setup and pack down?
Yes.
We offer a full service experience, including delivery, setup, styling, and pack down. Our team handles the installation so everything is professionally styled and ready before your party begins.
What’s the difference between Party Styling Design and Styling Design & Event Assessment?
Party Styling Design focuses on the visual styling of your party.
Styling Design & Event Assessment goes further by also reviewing the important decisions shaping the party, helping ensure the styling and overall setup are working together to deliver the result you want.
Is there a minimum spend?
Feel Good Events has a minimum spend for equipment hire: $1500 for all events held from January 1st – November 22nd. Due to high demand, events held from November 23rd – December 31st will require a minimum spend of $5,000. Our team is available to guide you every step of the way to ensure you get the best value from your investment.
Please note, the minimum spend applies only to our décor equipment hire. Any specialised custom equipment or services from outside suppliers will be itemised separately and aren’t included in this minimum. Additionally, charges for delivery, labour, and pickup are not part of the minimum spend.
For example, a 2-hour setup in Melbourne CBD could look like this:
- Equipment minimum spend-> $5,000
- Delivery to Melbourne CBD -> $360
- Labour for setup -> $440
- Labour for takedown -> $440
- Pickup from Melbourne CBD -> $360
This brings the estimated total to $6,600.
Please be aware that our quotes start at the minimum amount spend. Additionally, Feel Good Events has transitioned into a full service decorating company, meaning we no longer offer DIY equipment pickups. All equipment must be delivered and set up by our experienced team.
