Regency-Inspired Elegance for Carlisle Homes
For Carlisle Homes’ 2025 End of Year Event, we had the opportunity to transform the iconic Plaza Ballroom into a Bridgerton/Regency-inspired setting that felt rich, dramatic, and immersive from the moment guests arrived.
This event was all about atmosphere. Warm lighting, layered draping, lush florals, and thoughtful details worked together to bring this night of celebration to life. Read about how we put it all together!
The Setup
A Grand Entrance
The entrance set the tone right away. Guests were welcomed through a softly lit entry framed with florals, candlelight, and Regency-inspired detailing. The goal for this area was to add depth and drama without overwhelming the space, and to give guests a small preview of what was to come!
The Ballroom
Inside the ballroom, the focus was on enhancing the grandeur of the room and bringing the theme to life. We used rich tones, layered lighting, drape, and lush florals to soften the space while allowing the venue’s architectural details to shine.
Bar Styling
The bar areas were designed to feel like their own destination within the event. A 360-bar in the centre of the venue served as a focal point, and really tied the whole event together. For styling, we used florals, lush greenery, chandeliers, candles, and more. These spaces encouraged guests to linger and chat, and move through the room naturally.
Feature Areas: Lounge, Stage, Photo Ops
Beyond the main event space, several feature areas helped bring variety and novelty to the night.
- The Lounge area offered a more relaxed setting with sofas, armchairs, and styled with florals and a draped backdrop
- The stage was decorated with a dramatic draped backdrop, florals, and warm candlelight
- A Photo Studio area provided the perfect on-theme photo op for guests
The End Result
From the entrance through to the final details, every area was designed to support the overall experience and create a night that felt considered, elegant, and celebratory.
