A truly unique wedding experience. Bianca & Tyron’s celebrated their wedding among vintage & classic cars

What a wedding venue

Bianca & Tyron celebrated tying the knot at the iconic Fox Car Collection in Docklands. The historical space houses more than 50 prestige vehicles and is not usually utilised for wedding functions. However, a special exception was made for Bianca & Tyron’s Wedding.

We utilised 2 spaces on the second floor for the event.

The Refreshments & Canapes Room – Our Bar Tables and several Bar Barrels gave guests a place to place their drinks & finger food and talk around. The style of this furniture fit in well amongst the vintage Volkswagon Beetles, Porches, and Mercedes Benz classics that bordered the space.

The Reception – When it was time a Black Velvet Drape was pulled back to reveal the reception space. Guests enter a space where Festoon Pendant Lights hung overhead and Purple Uplighting lit up the walls – adding colour and vibrancy to the room. Our lighting created just the perfect amount of light with no other lighting sources needing to be used.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Feel Good Events not only had the pleasure of supplying furniture, lighting, and draping for the wedding, but we also coordinated and managed the wedding reception.

Our Senior Event Planner Hayley Weate was there every step of the way – from leading up to the event (floor planning, coordinating with multiple suppliers & creating a wedding plan and schedule) to being there on the wedding day to ensure every aspect of the wedding went to plan and ran on time.

Bump-in for our equipment began the day before at 11am time. A team of 4 delivered and set up the furniture, lighting, and draping. Installing the overhead Festoon Pendant Lighting took up the bulk of the time.

Hayley returned early the following day to finish up on final styling touches and to ensure all other aspects were going to plan. Next, the caterers began to arrive followed by the band and special deliveries. Everything was running to plan.

Guests made their way up to the Refreshments & Canape room at 6pm and keeping true to the schedule, the reception space was then revealed through the opening of Black Velvet Drapes at 6:30pm.

Vintage cars and magical Festoon Lights surrounded the guests throughout the night. It was truly a magical and unique way to celebrate a wedding.
